So I was factory resetting Windows 10 on my old HP Pavilion g6 laptop and it was stuck on the "Installing Windows" screen with the circle and percentage in the middle. I don't know what to do, this is my only computer.

Well, starting a clean install from within a running version of Windows is the only way to do it. Since you can't do that, you will need to configure your BIOS to boot from the install media.
